An UPDATE from UPSTATE... NewYork

Well Kyle and I are finishing up our stay here in Rochester NewYork. We have been here for a little over 2 months and have enjoyed it so far! Its been fun being close to Amy, Nate, and little Ryan and Terriann, Todd, Wes and Ty and of course everyone else! Rick treated all of us to a Thanksgiving feast at the hotel that the boys are remodeling. It was actually nice to be catered to.... speaking of being catered to these past two months that is what kyle has had to do for me. I've been soo sick because I'M PREGNANT... ok i know this is old news for many but I am officially announcing the newest addition to our small Merkley Family. I have been so sick. At about 7 weeks kyle had to take me to the hospital because i was dehydrated. They pumped me full of fluids and filled me with a life saving drug Zofran! Life Saving... really i don't think my knees could take it one more time on our bathroom floor. The greatest part of the hospital visit was getting to see the little beans heartbeat. And this helped make it a little more real for me.

So there you have it the BIG news and next tues the 14th we will share somemore big news with everyone! We love you all and are sorry it has been soo long!

Well we are off to another semester. Kyle has a heavy load of credits and is taking a refereeing class inorder to be a certified ref. He says he likes it so far and is excited to be making a few extra bucks reffing games. My favorite class this semester is Clothing Construction! It's a sewing class and so far i have made a pillow case... the fabric here is sooo expensive, so i went to the clearance rack and found a few awkward peices to put together. It looks fun so far! We are practicing using a serger on the pillow case and our next project is ELASTIC waisted pants. Yuck. I am sorry but I hate elastic lately. So the flower headbands are really in right now and tons of girls wear them on campus. I started trying some out and its been a lot of fun. Kyle is glad because i get my craft fix from shreading old t-shirts and what ever i can get my hands on to make them. So far they have been a hit but im just too nice to sell them... i like giving things away. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in a few months. Our plan right now is to go to the Wilkin's Reunion in June and then at the end of July the to Merkley Reunion. I am so glad I have such a great family on both sides! We love you all and will see you soon!

1 Month Down....5 years to go!

Well we have made it through a whole month of school, and it is going great! Kyle and I have both realized how much easier it is to get the school work done when we don't have to worry about "spending time" with each other. Now we just do our homework... and go to at least three basketball games a week. We got to visit all the utahians this past weekend and had a blast! Brad and Siska's basement looks amazing, and we had a fun time visiting with Dale and Michelle and the kids. We also got to see Grandma and Momma Nothum while in Provo which was a plus. It was fun to see everyone and play with all the kids. Kyle and I enjoyed the BYU game as well (he can tell you more about that). THANK YOU thank you to Brad and Siska and Ryan and Lizzie for letting us stay with you! We Love you!

I also just want to tell all of you how amazing my husband is ... and no he isn't looking over my shoulder right now. Kyle does such a good job taking care of me! The other day I woke up feeling not so good... Kyle got up and made a nice breakfast for me AND the Merkley remedy orange juice. It worked!

Our first Halloween was a BLAST. We went to a party the night before and dressed up as nerds but on halloween we broke out the full shabang! Kyle got a few looks at the trunk or treat from the older ladies.... Cross dressing is a no no and Kyle was dressed up as the big bad wolf. Most everyone loved it but we got a laugh out of a few of the looks. We love you!

We've been married 2 Months!

It's been a little over two months and we have made it so far! Kyle works hard everyday framing houses and I get to nanny a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old. We have a cozy apartment close to family and a great ward... keeps us busy. We are excited to see some of our family in Idaho for Thanksgiving and very excited to see all the new babies! We love you all and hopefully will get a hang of this blogging thing! love Kyle and Stacy
